There are a number of uses and benefits of coconut oil. One of the main ways, that I have loved so far, has been to use it as a moisturiser. You'd think it would be gross to feel all oily and gross, but I love it. My face even absorbs it really well, without leaving a nasty greasy look.
1. Warm up 1 tbsp of coconut oil in a small container. It is much easier to mix when your coconut oil is liquid
2. Stir in 5-8 drops of vanilla essential oil.
If you live in a cool/cold climate like I do, your coconut oil will harden. No worries, just take a half a teaspoon put it in the palm of your hand, rub your hands together, and your body heat will melt it and make it ready to use.
I am getting really into using oils in my daily routine. I also just love the aromatic oils. I know that oils don't work for everyone, but you won't know if they work for you until you try.
Before using any oils be sure to test a little dab of it on your skin before applying it all over your body. You will want to make sure you are not allergic to it. What may work for me may not work for you. We are all unique humans so it only makes sense that we have different needs.
I wanted to share my experience with you! But keep in mind that we are all wonderfully unique so what works with my skin may not do such wonders with yours.
