Paris Flea
We went to the most stunning of places while we were in Paris!

It was a permanent flea market with beautiful antiques galore!  I was in a bit of vintage heaven!

If you are in Paris, you must go on a search for this beautiful jewel. There are millions and millions of treasures just waiting for their new life!

Thank you for reading.

Our vacation....Part 6. by the lake.

We stopped for a beautiful breakfast at a little cafe on our way out of Strasbourg.
Then we headed to Colmar, a lovely little town just over the french border from Freiburg.

We enjoyed the town until it began to rain heavily. Then we drove to the Lake, Gerardmer.
The lake was beautiful but it was not so pleasant to camp so we stayed and cooked on our camping stove at a youth hostel.  We spend a beautiful, rainy, quite night there and hoped for better weather for the next day, our last, so we thought, day of vacation.

Thank your for reading.  It is always fun sharing our adventures with you.

Our vacation....Part 5. France

Our first night in France was right across the border.  We spend the night at a camping place in the more seedy part of Strasbourg.  The camping place was fine.  But as we headed on our walk to find a place to eat we stumbled upon some ghetto places.

We ended up in Petit Venice, for dinner.  It was really charming.  Of course I didn't get any photos of the nice part of Strasbourg that we saw.  I am sorry.  I think my eye is drawn to the grungy a bit more (and the light was better when these photos were taken.)

As we ate dinner we leaned over to our neighbors and Dominik asked them (in French) where we should go for a relaxing time next to a lake.  They told us to go to Gerardmer, about an hour and a half south.  So we had our new destination for the next portion of our trip.

We slept wonderfully and were ready for some relaxing next to a lake for the final days of our holiday.
Unfortunately that plan didn't really work out (more on that later).

Thanks for reading lovelies..
