Q & A: Cameras
I have recently got some questions asking about what type of camera I use.  So, I thought I would go all out and name every one of my lovely cameras in my collection.
The main camera I use is my Nikon D5000.  I love it.
It is a wonderful camera, and I have used it so much I can't really imagine life without it.

Many of my cameras just sit on my shelf and make the flat prettier.  Some of my most favorites are collecting dust because I have not made film photography a priority in the past year and a half.

Maybe one day I will have the money and inspiration to practice film photography once more.  But for now they just have to be looked at and enjoyed aesthetically. Or used as accessories for my shop.

And now on to a few of my other favorites...

holga.  (She works though she leaks light).

 My Polaroid Land Camera.

 My Olympus 35mm.

 My Polaroid 600.

My Rollop. Medium Format camera.  (What a beauty!)
 My Box Brownie.

And I cannot forget my Lomo Super Sampler, and my 1950s Agfa Silette Pronto 35mm

My brother recently sent me this quote.  Which I thought was funny.

"A photographer went to a socialite party in New York. As he entered the front door, the host said 'I love your pictures- they're wonderful; you must have a fantastic camera.' He said nothing until dinner was finished, then: 'That was a wonderful dinner; you must have a terrific stove." -Sam Haskins.

Oh Snap!  It's kind of cruel but true.  The camera helps but it is not what makes a good photo!

Remember that, especially when you can't afford a fancy dancey one!  Point and shoots can make wonderful images. Don't let the sparkling lenses and special photographer poses fool you.  You can make great compositions even with your camera phone if you develop your eye.

Thanks for reading lovelies,
