Life Long Learner: January Reads

Looking at all these books cluttering my coffee table and night stand, I began to realize how much I love to learn. I have always been an inquisitive person. I was never an easy student, but when something interested me, I wanted to learn about it and try it out.

Recently I've been reading...

This is a collection of essays and life lessons from the brutally honest and hilarious, Lena Duhnam. It's a fun read. A bit raunchy at times, but I am appreciative of her frank and funny voice.

This book has already improved my life in the classroom. I want my students to find freedom in a safe, efficient, and supportive environment. This book has helped me to focus on what I expect in the art studio and how to help students live up to my expectations.

This book is all about buying ethically made clothing. It has helped me understand what tragic occurrences are taking place as a result of our fast-fashion consumption.
