This painting is part of a body of work which is in collaboration with my husband @dominikbaer. He brought out a new song every month, in 2018, I am painted a new work in response to each song. Escape, is a very calming and adventurous song. It is about keeping in motion and moving. The piece visually represents the melody and vibes of the song.
The painting is a mixed media abstract expressionistic painting on stretched canvas. I have used acrylic, pastel, ink, and some spray. I also have incorporated some paper, an old sewing pattern which has an almost map like structure in the top left corner.
